    – How do you handle suspicious emails or messages in your inbox?

Typically, when a suspicious email lands directly in my spam section, I don’t even notice it and don’t review it, as it is most likely phishing or scam attempt, or someone trying to spread malware. In case one of those somehow doesn’t get flagged as spam and makes it to my inbox, I just delete it without taking a second glance, which I believe is the best strategy.

If, however, an email lands in my inbox and appears somewhat legitimate but still raises my suspicion, I conduct a thorough assessment. I start by asking myself whether I was expecting the email or if it seems out of place. Next, I analyze if the sender/content looks legit. I look at the email header and check for any signs of spoofing in case I know the sender. The last step is particularly important when dealing with emails coming from financial or government institutions.

    – How often do you update your passwords for online accounts?

Once in a couple of years(2/3) or when there’s a breach.
